Wikipedia: ‘A pothole is a depression in a road surface, usually asphalt pavement, where traffic has removed broken pieces of the pavement. It is usually the result of water in the underlying soil structure and traffic passing over the affected area.’
Unfortunately there are many potholes in the Indian roads which is a real danger for Indian drivers.
As part of its corporate social responsibility program, Infanion is developing the PotholeAp. PotholeAp is a mobile app for smartphones to locate potholes on the road while driving.
Users can locate potholes by clicking on a button or by taking a picture and upload it in the app. The potholes will be visualised on Google maps and can be shared on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Infanion is developing PotholeAp making use of Android, IOS, Python, PostgreSQL, HTML, JavaScript and CSS3.
