The Renewal Workshop Platform — Supporting a second life for fashion and textile products

The Renewal Workshop is Bleckmann’s circular solution for restoring fashion and textile products so they can be sold again. Cleaning, repair, quality assurance and photography help turn returned or damaged items into products ready for a second life.

The Renewal Workshop Platform supports these daily renewal and warehouse operations. Teams use it to manage laundry processes, repair workflows, quality checks and product photography, alongside product catalogue and shipment information. Repair guidelines and quality assurance steps help structure the work throughout the renewal process.

An integrated photography workflow connects studio cameras with the platform, allowing teams to capture product images and store them in a searchable media library. Connections with the warehouse management system support SKU creation and label printing, linking product renewal with warehouse handling and shipment preparation.

Bleckmann & Infanion — Turning circular processes into working software

To understand the work behind The Renewal Workshop, our Infanion team visited the warehouse floor to observe and analyse the daily operations. Seeing how teams handled products, performed repairs, checked quality and captured images helped us translate the practical requirements into a dedicated web application.

Infanion developed the Renewal Workshop Platform for Bleckmann, combining software development, warehouse system integrations and local camera connectivity. The platform was shaped by the processes and needs observed on the floor, supporting renewal teams in their daily work.

The platform combines configurable partner and warehouse information with role-based permissions and multilingual functionality. An administrative dashboard provides visibility into the status of its underlying microservices, supporting technical monitoring of the application.

The Renewal Workshop Platform. Supporting product renewal. Built to make circular impact.
