DHL Express Portal — One secure environment for global operations
The DHL Express Portal is a web application developed for DHL Express Belgium for one of its major pharmaceutical customers. The solution was introduced in response to new EU shipping regulations that required specific information to be extracted from shipping documents. It provides users at customer locations around the world with one secure environment to access and process this information.
Through the portal, users can upload documents and initiate specific actions to extract the required data. These actions are executed by RPA processes in the background, while the portal provides users with a simple and consistent interface to access the results.
User and access management is an important part of the solution. Individual locations around the world can create and manage their own users, while user administration can also be managed centrally. Roles and permissions provide controlled access across locations and user groups.
